About the Role
As an IT Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our clients’ needs and our development teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and according to specifications. This position is crucial in maintaining high standards of quality while fostering collaboration and innovation.
Primary Responsibilities
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various stakeholders to gather and define software requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Software Design Oversight: Take charge of the software design and architecture process to ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable.
Team Leadership: Lead development teams during the implementation phase, coordinating coding, testing, and integration activities.
Deployment Management: Manage deployment processes, ensuring smooth transitions into production environments while minimizing downtime.
Post-Deployment Support: Troubleshoot issues and provide ongoing support to clients after deployment to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Tools & Technologies
To thrive in this role, familiarity with the following tools and technologies is essential:
Agile methodologies for software development, including tools such as Jira, Trello, and Asana.
Version control systems, specifically Git, GitHub, and GitLab.
CI/CD pipelines, making use of tools like Jenkins and Travis CI.
Cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.
