Job Description: Marketing Operations Associate
Amazon Music is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Marketing Operations Associate to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to enhance the visibility of content through effective marketing operations. As a Marketing Operations Associate, you will be instrumental in the editing and quality assurance processes, ensuring that our content meets the highest standards of excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Operations: Conduct marketing operations aimed at improving content visibility. This includes utilizing various marketing tools and operation workflows to assess and amplify our outreach efforts.
- Quick Learning and Adaptability: Quickly understand and adapt to new marketing tools and workflow systems. Stay updated with new features and enhancements in programs to continually improve content editing and fixing processes.
- Content Editing: Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify and rectify errors in content effectively. Your keen attention to detail is crucial in maintaining the quality of our content.
- Metric Awareness: Monitor operations metrics such as productivity (number of titles processed per hour), quality (defect percentage), and delivery/latency Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will be evaluated on compliance with these metrics, SLA requirements, Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines, and personal and team goals.
- Team Collaboration and Improvement: Collaborate with team members and proactively suggest improvement ideas to enhance editing and QA processes. Your input plays a vital role in streamlining operations.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly liaise with global stakeholders to provide status updates, share relevant information, and escalate issues when necessary. Effective communication is key to fostering positive working relationships.
- Individual Contributor Role: This role is an individual contributor position, requiring self-motivation and the ability to work independently while meeting goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A completed undergraduate degree in any field.
- Basic analytical skills to tackle mathematical and logical problems.
- Fundamental knowledge of Excel, including basic operations and logic.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak proficiently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment influenced by complex software systems and processes.
- A self-starter who thrives in a team-oriented atmosphere and demonstrates strong attention to detail in content editing.
- Proficient in problem-solving, data analysis, and troubleshooting content editing issues.
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain ongoing relationships with the software team and interoperations teams.
- Familiarity with XML standards is advantageous, along with knowledge or experience within the publishing industry.
- Proficiency in writing SQL queries for data management and manipulation.
- Basic knowledge of Python/Selenium for automating repetitive tasks will be beneficial.
